We at Proud Black Buddhist love our brother Malcolm and to us he is our Shining Prince, a brother who died for us. As we view Malcolm in his dormant state of rest we can never rest or tolerate anyone who allows the spirit of our people to be insulted. Malcolm taught us to be strong and he taught us to study our history and to build our communities and to be first rate citizens and to be morally strong. In Buddhism he taught us that we can be leaders and that we should lead our communities and that it is time that Japanese Buddhist leaders step aside and let Black people be strong and lead their own communities in Buddhism.  We start the Proud Black Buddhist World Association.

Malcolm's Body At Rest February 27, 1965
Well known Black actor Ossie Davis said this about Malcolm "He  was our manhood. You know, our shining prince who didn't  hesitate to die because he loved us so. I thought that in honoring  him we honored the best in ourselves, and I wanted that to be a   part of what the world would remember when they thought of Malcolm."
