. This temple is named Senmyo-Zan Hokkeji and it is the largest Nichiren Shoshu Temple outside of Japan. This African Temple opened in February of 1998 and is widely attended and this temple sets a strong foundation to introduce Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism in Africa. These temple members have opened a Buddhist elementary school and they have purchased 30 acres of land to build a Buddhist High School and college.
